 Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person tactical shooter and the sixth entry in
 the popular Call of Duty series. True to its name and following the lead of
 its predecessor, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, it places players in modern
 combat settings, as opposed to the WWII environments of the earlier Call of
 Duty games. This modern approach brings with it new weapons, action and
 options. Coupled with a variety of gameplay modes including single player,
 multiplayer and the co-op Special Ops Mode, it is destined to be one of the
 most popular games of 2009 and a worthy addition to the Call of Duty series.

For Singleplayer Play:

Download and install Skidrow Proper release as per the nfo.
Copy over skidrow's crack and play using the iw4sp.exe

Easy right?  Skidrow's proper removed the steam requirement from the game and allowed for SinglePlayer action. Now a MPloader has been released into the wild.  The folks over at TeknoGods.com have released a two-player online coop fix, but it [like razor's release] requires Steam.  So in order to play coop online matches, you must copy over the razor cracked iw4sp.exe, have steam running, and  start the game with TG's loader.  Here's how:

For Online Two-player Special Ops COOP Play:

1- Start Steam with a blank/dummy account.  [DOn't use yer legit account!]
2- Rename Skidrow's iw4sp.exe to iw4sp_Skidrow.exe and make a shortcut to it on yer desktop.
[This will be your SinglePlayer shortcut.]
3- Copy razor's iw4sp.exe to game folder. [only this one file from razor's crack is needed]
4- Copy TeknoGod's Loader files into the game folder, make a shortcut to and play using teknogods_mw2sp.exe.  [This will be your Onlince Coop shortcut]

Now you can host/play online coop matches using TG's instructions:

Spec Ops Coop Play

==Usage For Client==
1. Copy TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe and TeknoMW2.dll to your game folder.
2. Make a shortcut to TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe and add --ip= after
Example TeknoGods_MW2SP --ip=10.0.0.1

==Usage For Server==
1. Copy TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe and TeknoMW2.dll to your game folder.
2. Run game from TeknoGods_MW2SP.exe

==In game use for server==
1. Goto Spec Ops
2. Click Two Player Online
3. Host the game and wait in lobby.

==In game use for client==
1. Simply press F12 to connect

==Caveats==
- This release is not intended for piracy usage!
- This release will not work on executable that doesn't use steam! [ie Skidrow's]
- Use your own steam account at your own risk.
  You can create separate account and use 'backup exe' with steam support to run the game.

NOTE: If the above procedure doesn't work for you, you don't have skidrow's release or have an earlier release which could have incompatibility issues with this method - If that is the case, use worm2048's fixed exe instead of razor's exe.  Let us know how things work out for you.

For REAL Online Multiplayer Play [no coop]:

[THIS METHOD NO LONGER WORKS - ONLY WORKED A FEW DAYS ON V1.0.159]
1- Download zens0red's MP fix and copy his two files to your MW2 installation folder.
2- After replacing the iw4mp.exe, open steam and go to file->settings->friends
and Add a space to your nickname. [Example santannuts = satan nuts]
3- You can now join legit Multiplayer Matches. Enjoy!

This guide will Solve the 2 Min steam Kick problem :) .

What U Need

1. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 installed on your system (SKIDROW RELEASE,Razor1911, RELOADED..Ect )
2. Steam installed on your system ( Download STEAM and INSTALL )

So Now Follow The Steps.....

PART ONE :- Install Zero Gear Beta On New steam Account

1. Make New Account In Steam ( Don't Use Steam account With your legit Game :- it can get ban )
2. Go to Zero Gear Beta Enter Your valid email address into the BOX
   Press Submit Query
3. Go into your email inbox - open message - Zero Gear Beta Invite (from NimbleBit)
   Click on the link to get your beta key
   Login to Steam and go to the My games tab.
   Click the Activate a product on Steam... button located in the lower left of the games menu and Enter the Beta key
   
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to Install Zero Gear beta (Its a nice game thu ;) )
   
5. Go To Steam and go to the My games tab. Right click -> properties -> Update tab select Automatic updates - select Do not automatically update this game ..and Close .
   

Now Test It By Playing Online with Steam ......If its working fine ......Then Exit the Steam completely..

PART TWO :- Now Copy Paste All Modern Warfare 2 files to Steam ..

1. go to default streams folder (e.g :- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) now go to \steamapps\common\zero gear\Server , and now Select all files Inside it and delete it
   
2. Now Copy All Files Modern Warfare 2 Game Files
   
3. And go to default streams folder \Steam\steamapps\common\zero gear\Server and paste

PART THREE :- Download My files and Past and play ..

1. This part Is simple download the RAR file
2. extract it and copy and past common folder in \Steam\steamapps folder overwright (copy replace)
3. Now Login to Steam and go to the My games tab..
4. And Play Zero Gear .........But it will launch MW 2 ..
5. If Not Working Then Follow The step properly ..

I had lot of time and MW2 is PC version Is Not released in my Country (it will release in jan ) and i was frustrated so I did This Crazy shit :)

I am Gone buy the retail version of the Game Anyway , when it will release in my Country (jan 2nd or 3rd Week )....

NAT OPEN/STRICT:

Please note that your NAT must be OPEN in order to join/create a game.
To check if your NAT is open/strict, simply create a game in the Two Player Online Special Ops game.
If your NAT is Strict, you will have to open these ports on your router:
CODMW2 Ports:
UDP 1500
UDP 3005
UDP 3101
UDP 28960


No Dedicated servers, Activision??  Shame on you!
